I think I'd have to try both a few sib crosses and some 'cousin'
crosses. When you see what the seedlings are doing, you can see why
the hybridizers keep moving forward - same pattern, more ruffles,
etc...
I wonder if the plant health is the problem with the sib crosses.
You sure don't see many registered with sibs as parents.
I threw together a quick page so you could see some of Keppel's
seedlings in this pattern. I don't have pedigrees on them all, but I
put down what I had. Hopefully I have them all right.
Some of them aren't finished flowers, but you can see the progress
that's being made.
