Mid America has a nice system I think where they use one color flag for one 
they are evaluating for introduction and another for ones they are keeping as 
breeders.  Keith Keppel has a similar system.  The down side is that you know 
which seedlings are going to go.  Neither Keith or Paul seem to have a problem 
discarding an ugly seedling before it is through blooming.
