Seedlings that I judge to be important  --  i.e., possibly introduceable or
definitely to be used for breeding  --  get a red flag on the clump; those
to be kept for further evaluation get a blue flag; those to be tossed get a
yellow flag.  Yellows I try to toss immediately after or during bloom.  The
hard part is judging how long to keep the blues.  If I conscientiously toss
the yellows, then it's easier to keep track of the FOURTH category: those
that didn't bloom.  --  Griff
