Re: Big rhizome
The biggest in my garden are 5-6 inches long. Some varieties consistently
grow bigger and longer rhizomes than others, but good dirt and fertilizer
play an essential role, as well. In the attached photo, the rhizome on the
left is 4 1/2 inches long, the one on the right 5 inches, measured along the
top of the rhizome from the white edge of the fan to the end. -- Griff
