Yes, Thomas, I have had bloomed out rhizomes produce a shoot. I still have
a seedling that I thought had bloomed out with its first stalk. I cut the
stalk and brought it in the house where I sighed over its first and last
beautiful blooms. At the end of summer when I was cleaning the beds, there
was a tiny little shoot where it grew. Also, Mesmerizer regularly appears
to bloomout but manages to come back every year. However it never has
enough left to rebloom. I lost When You Wish, a pink Mesmerizer reblooming
seedling, to bloomout. It didn't come back. Fortunately my Cloud
Reflection, Mesmerizer X Pink Champagne, has no such tendency.
