I also have bloomstalks coming up from iris just planted this year. One stalk
on Tanzanian Tangerine (Kasperek) and one on Dance for Joy (Byers). I don't
know if they will be able to mature and bloom as we have already had frost
here in WI. I had that happen last year....a very late bloom stalk came up on
newly planted Bountiful Harvest. Try as I might to protect it, the blooms got
frozen. This same iris did not
bloom for me this spring but has been in beautiful bloom for the last two
weeks with 3 absolutely perfect bloom stalks. What a joy to behold! I never
had much interest in rebloomers before but I think I will be on a "mission"
next year to get more. Hope you get to see Low Ho Silver bloom before it
freezes.
