Region 4's web page went up 12 July 1998, hosted temporarily on the
worldiris.com website. Notice was published in the Region-4 Newsletter and
announced to the Region-4 membership also at the Region-4 Fall meeting.

Links to the Region-4 web page went up on both the World Iris and HIPS
websites on the same day that the site was established. Region 4's
webmaster, Bill Smoot, has now obtained a domain for the Region 4 web page,
the SJI webpage and the Reblooming Iris Society's web page. This domain is
irises dot com or in the more prosaic language of the web:

http://www.irises.com

If you travel to the old address:

http://www.worldiris.com/Region-4/default.htm

you will find a 'goto' link that takes you to irises dot com.

Of possible interest is the complete Region 4 Symposium which is still on
the World Iris website and can be reached by the URL below:

http://worldiris.com/sympo.html

Cheers,

Mike mlowe@worldiris.com
