Hi Julia,
Welcome to the iris talk.  You sound about an hour and 40 minutes away from
us.  We are about 5 miles west of Porterville, CA.  We have about 37 acres
of iris, specializing in space age and reblooming iris.  You are welcome to
visit anytime of the year.  We usually have iris bloom all year round unless
the winter is very cold.  (For us that means a low of between 20 and 25
degrees F.)  Our peak bloom in spring is April 15th, a bright spot on an
otherwise bleak day. )  :-)  Look forward to hearing more from you on iris
talk.
