Thanks Celia for the bleach  instructions.  Can you tell me if this bleach
treatment will harm other garden plants, bulbs, perennials.  Here in the deep
south (New Orleans area, Zone 8) rot is a common problem, fungal as well as
bacterial, due to high humidity and heat.  I was wondering if this would be an
effective treatment I could use in other areas, on foliage and soil of other
plants, as would be much cheaper than commercial fungicides. Would this harm
foliage or other plants?
