     There are some fancy set ups to grow something illegal in the US too. 
If someone was to set up this type of thing for growing LEGAL plants, they
will not be arrested/prosecuted, but they may be subject to occasional
inspection from a law enforcement agency.  
     This makes me think of the time that a Lexington (KY) Police Officer
saw my plants of Hibiscus coccineus, before blooming.  He thought he had
the Marijuana bust of all time, with those large plants growing near the
sidewalk.  Upon closer inspection, he muttered  "#&%$ Hibiscus..." and
drove away.  Thank goodness he knew that it was a Hibiscus upon close
examination..."
