Re: Planting w/o smithereens

From: Iarejan@aol.com

First of all, let me relate to you that our last house was indeed on a
particularly horrible form of grey clay. So I remember my jackhammer projects
well...secondly, our new home is very SANDY soil, so i'm always checking after
hard rainfall to see that parts of our yard have traipsed off to other parts
of the yard.

That said, MY guess is that Mario Mahoney would prefer to be surrounded by
garlic bulbs, whereas Mary O. Mahoney may have preferred a potatoe or two
nearby.
And, if you were any kind of a HIP college student, you would know that you
can find Smithereens in any good record store, under alternative.
Also, Nert is a name probably already taken by one of Sterlings "uglies."
Now just one question...what is lava sand? Never heard of that'un.
And where do you find alfalfa pellets...do they get loaded in the alfalfa gun?
Janet N. zone 8 in SC where my rebloomers are too newly planted for a report
(sigh)
