Dear Kathy: I have a seedling that has dark purple stems. t does not
grow well, but I have got seed from it and hope for some good-growing
seedlings with this novel characteristic. I have not worked on this project
before, - there are so many considerations in irisdom! BLACKSTALK or some
such name from Gordon Plough, was tried by me and it proved too tender to
