Since aloe grew with reckless abandoment for my mother, I used to bring
several pieces of aloe home after each visit. (I bought an aloe plant last
night, but I tend to kill them--another story) I would put them in the
crisper and use as needed for days, even weeks, with no reduction of burn
relief.
