But Dave, I thought that you were a man of science... :-))
Surely you would agree that without experimentation and innovation we would
not move forward and we might still be reading by candlelight and using
horses for the primary mode of transport. (not that I put potting iris and
iris root shaving in the same category level of importance as the discovery
of electricity and the invention of the automobile... but it helps to make
the point)
Let me explain that I am not trying to force everyone into using this
method. Just trying to present some info and let people decide to try it or
not based on what they have learned. I also understand that for some it may
not be a method that is deemed viable or necessary due to time constraints,
climatic location and corresponding growing conditions, quantity of iris or
just plain inclination.
