Of further interest is the fact that some of these 'turn of the century' patterns
show iris forms that had not been developed yet, especially the
Flower de Luce pattern.
I have two antique vases made in the 1800's that feature the
EDITH WOLFORD color pattern and ten pieces of carefully
preserved Goofus glass that show the LILAC CHAMPAGNE color
pattern. These patterns had not been developed when the pieces
were made.
Regardless of the form, these patterns show that the artists
were quite visionary.
