Just some information re rebloomers. When you get plants in from someone and
they throw up bloomstalks right away, I recommend removing the bloomstalk
(leave the leaves) as it can take too much energy from the plant and perhaps
lead to it not having the energy to survive winter. follow this up with
cutting the flower stalk and leaves associated with it ,right off at the
rhizome before winter sets in in order to prevent onset of rot and perhaps
loss of plant.
Bloom on these plants doen't mean that it will rebloom for you as the flower
bud was set in a different growing area/climate.
