Can anyone outside of Australia and the US West Coast grow
CHOCOLATE VANILLA? I tried it three times and would put it in
the WHITE LIGHTNING-tender group. Maybe, we should start a
list of 'tender' irises, those that are super-sensitive to cold.
I'll list the tenderest of all first.
SKOOKUMCHUCK. You can breathe on this one after
drinking a cold drink (non-alcoholic) and it will keel over!

The most extensive listing of tender varieties is in the Chuck
Chapman catalog. Of course, he is located in Canada, and I can
understand why his list is so long. Chuck lists one of my own
inventions which is somewhat tender in MS but reblooms in
Canada. Amazing! So, everybody is not going to agree on what is
tender!
