I recall that there is a similar story about SNOW FLURRY (C. Rees, 1939),
probably the key breakthrough towards more modern form and substance in
TBs.

The same thing happened here with WL almost every year. Pity, because it
was the most willing grower of any of Gatty's TBs that I have tried.
