Dear Christine,
I have raised SDB'S in pots for two years. Sometimes, I put them in my cold frame greenhouse, and they do ok. If yours is heating in the winter then I would put them outdoors. You can raise MDB'S the same way.

Hi, everyone!
I'm a novice flower grower, so I hope I won't offend you with my lack
of knowledge about growing irises.
I was wondering whether I could grow standard dwarf irises in a
greenhouse, since I don't own an outside plot of soil. If so, should
I plant just one rhizome per pot of dimensions 4" x 3" x 3"?
Thank you,
Christine
