That is exactly what I did a couple years ago. You should have seen the picture. I loaded pollen on every flower that bloomed on NOREEN'S DELIGHT. There were 7 pods. Had flourescent green tags labeling each cross. The pods were huge and heavy. Had to stake the stalk. (The largest and most prolific pods were on the first branch down by the way.)
