   Linda,

I have gathered PCI seeds on several occasions from my visits to The Sea
Ranch, CA. They germinate quite easily, but it's my experience here that if the heat
doesn't get the seedlings, a hard freeze will.

I think Tom Dillard bloomed some in Little Rock. I have ordered one from Diana
Nicholls garden in NoVA, and she informs me today that the pkg. is on the way.
Hers are seedlings and seem to survive her colder winter.

Gee, it would have been nice to have gotten all of the transplanting done before
Isidore's rains started this morning. Now, it looks like it will be days before I can get
back to it!
