Have you used this method more than one year? Do your Moss roses reseed
themselves or do you replant each year?....I would have to be careful
with preemergent use with self sowing annuals. How easy is cleanup after
frost? As a ground cover, do they get very tangled and wrapped in the
iris leaves or clumps? Sounds like they might be a good companion plant
if they are not too hard to clean out after frost. In our area, they are
kind of fleshy and soft so wondered how (or if) the frost and debris
would be in the garden. Any diseases or insect problems you've
experienced? Portulaca is a weed here and grows well so could be a
natural if it can be managed a bit.

Thanks for your thoughts
