That's the problem, Char. While I was a member of RIS, I never saw any
guidelines which answered that particular question. In fact, I'm fairly
certain I remember reading at least one "rebloom report" published in the
Recorder that specifically stated the irises had been purchased and
planted *that summer*. That surprised me, since the general consensus
seems to be that a rebloomer must complete two bloom cycles within the
same growing season *in the same garden*. Why, then, would the official
publication of the RIS publish a rebloom report for *non-legitimate*
rebloom?
If RIS does, indeed, have comprehensive guidelines that answer these
sorts of questions, I'd love to get a copy.
