HYB:PBF

At some point in the past year or so, I reported on a seedling I have been
watching. It was in a mum pot for over 2 years and hasn't bloomed. The thing
about this seedling that caught my attention was the heavy reddish purple pbf.
It was the highest and darkest I'd seen on a seedling.

At one point this summer I cut the clump into 5 or six chunks, and it sat
that way for a month to six weeks before I finally planted it in a bed of
reselects. Once again it drew my attention. Of all the plants in that bed, it
regained it's green coloration much quicker than the others.

On closer examination, I found the pbf is totally gone! Could it be the
stress of transpant? Anyone have experience with changes this severe?

Should I blame the heat? Several of my 'favored' seedlings (1812) have pbf
showing.
