RE: OT Iris on the Federal list

Thanks, Kitty, for including the link.  That material on *lacustris* was
obviously written by someone who both knew the geologic history of the area
and the related plants.  That's refreshingly different from some government
publications.

It is also pretty obvious the species is close kin to *christata.*  And yes,
it has been mentioned from time to time, but I suspect on the Iris-species
group more than here.
