Which I guess could have an influence on flower 'substance' & disease
resistance/tolerance.

I refuse to think about inheritance of umbrata for at least one whole
day.....but if you see something in Hall pedigrees that gives you an
idea where umbrata appearance in WINE AND ROSES comes from, I'd love to
hear it. I can always think about it tomorrow <g>
