Tucson plantimg

Is anyone from the Tucson area still active on the list?  I need some advice
about planting times there.  In short, one of my daughters, who lives in
Tucson, has just asked for some irises for their new yard, and I wonder if
they can still be planted at this time, or should we wait until next year?  --
