Since you are easing into iris season, what type of temperatures are you  
having there?  What type of winter did you have leading into this  season?  
Colleen mentioned a drought.  Is the drought continental, or  localized?  
 
Those of us in the central portion of the good ole US of A have suffered  one 
of the most sever weather years in memory.  Many irises in my garden  have 
gone into protective mode by dropping their foliage.  
 
It is always good to be reminded of the International status  of the list.  
 
Hope you have a spectacular iris season!
