ADMIN: Flying the flag Sept 11th

I was away over the Labor Day weekend and "off the grid" or I would have responded earlier.
Without comment on the sentiment of the "Flying the Flag" email, messages of this kind (i.e., political, religious, etc) are not appropriate on the iris@hort list. 

There are lots of other forums for messages of this kind.
