Chuck, I don't have data and my memory isn't as reliable as it used to be, but nighttime temperatures have been <mostly> below 70 for the last two or three weeks. Unusual for the summer here, night time temps have dipped into the low 60s and even occasional 50s off and on all summer.
It has not gotten above 100oF all summer, not a lot of days in the upper 90s, unusually cool, thanks to all those weather systems that kept stalling.
If I can dig up a daily weather recording site for Knoxville TN (McGhee Tyson [TYS]) airport, I will let you know what I find.
Anybody know an online free source of data?Summer night time temperatures here are usually about the same or a few degrees colder than TYS, as much as 5oF colder when humidity is low.
