Loving irisarians

To all the wonderful folks on Iris-L:

I have just sped-read my way through the 5 digests (total) for Sept. 23-24
and I am now caught up. So I don't think I'm too late to make a comment
about the human side of this list.

I love iris, I love the Iris-L, and I love the wonderful people I have met
through both. I think most of us belong to the Iris-L, an iris (lily,
etc.) society, or the local garden club as much for the people we
meet there as for the plants. I enjoy the human and chatty side of this
list as much as I appreciate all the tips I am getting on growing iris.
My garden and my many wonderful iris friends helped get me through a very
rough time in my life. In my life, the iris and the people who grow them
go hand-in-leaf. You are great folks.

LO HO SILVER bloomed two weeks ago; REFINED is doing its thing; and
SEPTEMBER BUTTERCUP is sending up bloomstalks. (I dug most of my other
rebloomers this year and not many are going to bloom.)

Back to lurking and speed reading.

and I'm finally getting my irises planted
