Tom,
I must admit I was a little confused about your reaction but now I
understand. Please forgive a newcomers lapses until such time as I can get
up to speed. What we need is a list of basic rules to accompany what you
already send out.
For instance:
1. TYPING IN CAPITALS IS CONSIDERED SHOUTING. Use your caps to make a point
not write a note.
2. When you change the subject, change the subject line.
3. "Sign" your mail with your name, city, state and zone. Just like the
return address you put on anyother mail.
I am sure there are other things that I still have not learned but will pick
up as soon as I mess them up.
Furthermore, I am feeling guilty about this whole mess, since I am the one
who got the ding over subject lines. If my feelings weren't hurt then surely
no-one else needs to hackle up. This iris list is so much fun that even the
people at work are asking what happened last night. I don't want to go in
Monday and tell them we had a major bru-ha-ha. Let's all just have some fun
and talk some iris.
Learning as I go.
