Well Kathy, 
I can't honestly see myself cutting the poor stalk off before it
blooms, so either I have to hire someone to do it for me or if
necessary buy a new one next year. Gee wouldn't that be a shame!
Having to buy another iris.(Of course in order to make the shipping
cost effective I'll have to buy at least five,six others as well)
