Kathy,
What a positive spin on rot. Thanks for helping the novices like myself put
this problem in perspective (I'm being serious, not mocking). I have to
remind myself that we gardeners are not omnipotent caretakers of the plants
that we nurture. Sometimes we do things by the book and plants still die or
succumb to disease.
I can't wait for my NEW babies to arrive (Sibs and LA's)!
-Donald (repeat after me, rot is good; it means I have room to try new
things, like beardless irises. ;)
