	Hi,
I am going to ask a not very informed question (as opposed to
calling it a dumb question) about these TBs and their rot-prone-
	ness.

I don't know whether I am just plain lucky with all my new beard-
iris or they are just not rot prone or what....we have had a ton
of late summer rain and they are doing fine...they even have
moss growing between them and I meticulously look (today, God
forbid, I laid down in back garden to smell the soil for rot)
for signs daily. From MDB's to TB's, they are all increasing
and showing green color. I have them planted in three areas and
two tend to have so-so drainage.

I guess it is the nature of the beast to talk about problems
on a list such as this....and I am finding it helpful to know
what to do when rot happens.

I am assuming that the vast majority of the list do not have rot
problems? Is this an incorrect assumption?

We still have one Japanese iris in bloom and one more is coming
	along.
