My first seedling heads for the season are showing now, and they are all Aztec
Burst X Satin Knight. My early TBs are starting to head up now, Scented
Bubbles, Witching, Aztec Burst, White Lightening, Persian Berry, Berry Blush,
That Scentsation and Yaquina Blue.
I spent the weekend starting to transplant my seedlings. With the sudden
switches in weather we've had, I've some pots still germinating while the first
seeds in the pot came up more than two months ago. So I used the floating off
technique, described by Stephanie Markham in the July AIS Journal, for the first
time and it worked quite well.
The weather is back to winter today, cold wet and windy, I doubt we'll make 10
degree C. After a couple of weeks in the mid 20's with a few frosts. Still it's
better than the USA weather conditions - keep safe.
