Sure sounds like a tornado, Jan.We caught the edge of one here in Overland
last year. It took sveral bricks off my chimney. A couple of miles away it
damaged a school, over turned trucks and took the wall off a large store. I went
out expecting to see my irises flattened, but it didn't even damage a petal. Go
figure. That was my first experience with one and hopefully my last. Earthquakes
bother me less.
