Re: AR: Werckmeister Seedlings

From: Dennis Kramb <dkramb@badbear.com>

I spoke too soon. My order just arrived. :)

I got 3 starts of Werckmeister's Clone #2 and I got many bonuses too. Once
again I'm absolutely thrilled with my shipment! That's two years in a row
now...

Most of them were dormant, but the ones with green fans had aphids on them
(yuck!) so I have them soaking right now in some bleach water to kill the
little #$@*!

These dormant rhizomes look really bizarre....some are hairy, hairy, hairy!
Others look like driftwood. Others look like miniature tulip bulbs. I
ordered mostly regelia species and regeliabreds. I haven't identified what
the bonuses are, but I'm guessing they're regular OGB.

This is my second time experimenting with arils. I sure hope they make it
through winter this time.
