Re: CULT: Potting

From: Linda Mann <lmann@icx.net>

Last year, I bought a very inexpensive plastic "sled" at the Co-op to
mix potting soil in. I think I paid $6 or $8 for it. It's about 2 ft
wide, 6 ft or so long and about 6 inches deep. Handy for mixing medium
sized batches of potting mix and also easy to slide over the ground
either full of potting soil (as the shade migrates around the yard
during the day) or for dragging the pots out to the field to be planted.

Wouldn't work too well for mortar, 'cause the bottom is ridged (note to
multipurpose "sled" designers out there). Also works on ice (what we
usually get instead of snow) for small amounts of firewood and for
hauling containers of water from the creek when the power is out.
