I have a nasty suspicion it wouldn't, but you could give it a try. The
best chance of success with any spray is o get it going when there is
only a minimal infection of the disease. Very few sprays will cope with
a well-established attack.

One would have to start with new young clean plants, watch them
carefully for the very first signs of attack, and then remove entirely
any affected leaves before spraying the rest. Regular weekly spraying
coupled with a search for, and removal of, any new infections would be
essential. If after about a month you are still getting new infections
in spite of spraying, I should say the spray was not working. The reason
for waiting so long is to give a chance for any missed infections from
your first survey to be revealed. if the spray works at all I would
expect it to act mainly as a protectant.
