ok, I always knew it wasn't really an orchid, but I never new what it 'really was' either
-I had this plant in my office, given to me by an orchid enthusiast frienc, for
many years, but it got so big I brought it home and put it in a bigger pot. It has stayed
outside in a pot, and survived the winter here very well, with no visible trauma
(it is in a somewhat protected spot, next to the fence, tho)
It certainly seems a fairly hardy plant (survives overwatering, underwatering,
heat, cold, etc! nothing has seemed to kill it)
