Dear Linda-
May i suggest you go to the member presale on Friday, May 11 from 3-7pm.
Arrive early and buy a membership at the gate for $25.
Amortized over dozens of plants that's a bargain as you'll be helping a
great hort program AND have a shot at a their silent auction.
For more details see Ernie's fabulous webpage-

It's worth stopping in Watsonville at the Sierra Azul Nursery and
demonstration gardens. They are filled with wonderful combinations of
mature Mediterranean climate plants. Look up Jeff Rosendale, the
proprietor. He is an excellent plantsman not to mention a really nice guy.
For their address, etc. go to-
http://www.sierraazul.com/
The nursery is across from the county fairgrounds on a busy highway.
If you come from Hwy 1 it will be on the right side.
Start looking for it ahead of time as it is a right angle turn off 152.
If you miss it go a bit further and you'll see a sign for Gizdich Ranch.
Turn right down the country road and look for the sign by their orchards.
They have the best apple, or better yet, ollalieberry pie.
With happy taste buds turn around and go back to the nursery.
(Now on the left hand side of the road.)

Enjoy your trip!
