Re: Calendula common names


Yes, we always knew Calendula as "marigold"; I remember when my mother
started growing the other kind - but as I recollect they were sold as
"African marigolds"! (Anyone seen the film "Monsoon Wedding"? It is full
of marigolds which appeared to me to be the Maxican(?) type - but they
were constantly being eaten .. can these be eaten too?)
