Carol,
I join Rick in recommending Las Pilitas nursery in Santa Marguerita.
When my husband and I drove out to them one spring, the lupine in the
valleys on the way was wonderfully fragrant and made the valleys look as
if they were lakes. I was there when their second child was 1-2 days old,
and the mother was shakely running the nursery while her husband was
installing a garden somewhere. They have a great collection of Calif.
natives. Wonderful people.
