Rosmarinus centauna

I recently saw Rosmarinus centauna mentioned on a television program and I
can't seem to find any further information about it. The program segment was
taped at a winery in South Africa, where the head gardener explained how this
rosemary was planted on purpose as a natural insecticide, in a circle,
enclosing a collection of roses. They had never had to use any chemicals of
any kind on those roses. Does anyone have addtional info on this plant?
I've checked all my resource books here, including Hortus, and there is no
reference to it. Any data would be appreciated, and if someone knows a
source for this plant, that would be great too.
Thank you! C. Carter, California, Zone 9
