Yes, that's it, Colette--sorry about calling it Ragwort, though--a quite
different plant! Fitter gives the English name as Perforate St. Johns
Wort; there being a subspieces Imperforate (Hypericum maculatum). He lists
17 (sp and ssps) different Hypericums in N. Europe, some introduced from
the Med.
