Re: Local Bay Area Class and Event Listings

Just to add a note to this discussion. Sometimes I help friends post or 
cross post on newsgroups to increase attendance to their events. 

I subscribe to ba.general, for example, and have posted requests for information, upcoming 
concerts.. Much of the discussion contained in ba.general is of 
peripheral interest to me, but I continue to subscribe to it for it gives 
a good flavor of what those in my area are interested in.  
For purely selfish reasons, I'd love to have a ba.gardens group to read.
I subscribe to rec.gardens also, and sometimes get a little bit of 
helpful information and well as share from my modest store of knowledge.
