My preference for a local ba.gardens group is based on my own pragmatic
stance on gardening.
While some may enjoy waxing philosophical and poetic
about gardening and erudite nuances of horiticulture are lost on me.
I think there is great value in discussions of the international scope of
medit-plants, but these are not my aim at this time. I just want decent
tomatoes, bell peppers, etc. and want to know how t succeed. Also want
occasional advice on new varieties that do well my area.
I also like to try growing oriental vegetables, like bok choi and snow
peas. So most of the discussions on highway planting are only of
peripheral interst tome.
