Hi List,

Crocosmia 'Solfatare', besides being a great garden plant, brings me a
nice memory. I was a Wisley student gardener at that time and was helping
in the RHS Floral Comittee at the precise moment it won its well deserved
AGM in the RHS London's headquarters at Westminster Horticultural Halls. I
remember Argyranthemum 'Jamaica Primrose' was in that room also. I cannot
remember who the judges were, but sure some green fingers of 'high
pedigree'... I remember 'Solfatare' caught my attention: it was love at
first sight!
