Phony tony

Almost embarrassed to mention this after all the awful things I have said about it previously - but a hedge of Photinia might be a possibility as I have seen long, long hedges of it right at the water's edge in So.Calif. Pruned once a year easily, the new red growth is quite attractive. I've seen it for sale at Barni's big nursery in Rome so I know it is available. bill grant, calif.
